What kind of reputation does Wedbush have in the industry for ER?
They seem to have a lot of openings for ER recently. Can be both a good and a bad thing. Is anyone aware of their reputation as a sell side ER firm?

Depends on the Analyst. They have some really top guys. Dan Ives for tech and Micahel Pachter for gaming and media. I have seen some people joke about the firm though.
it has the reputation of being an average mid-market/ boutique shop because that's what it is. Nobody is going to respect/ disrespect you for going there - it's very average. It will have name recognition if you're in the industry, but if you're having a conversation with anyone not on the Street, get ready for "Wedbush is a mid-market/ boutique shop...". Comp is below average. as Matt said, depends on the analyst.. Patcher is a top analyst. Ives is regularly on every news channel, but his research product is lackluster... But if you can land a spot there to get your foot in the door and then hop around to a bigger shop, then it could be a solid landing spot.
dan ives committed revenue fraud when he was an IR exec & lives to pump stocks - just poor ethics generally
