What to write on research report as analyst name, when analyst is leaving firm?

Hi everyone! I'm an equity research analyst, and have just finished writing an in depth sector report, which you could consider my swansong, as I'll be leaving my current employer (a sell side brokerage house) within a few days. It is actually most probable that the report will be disseminated after I've already gone. I was told by my boss however, that the report would not contain my name, as I would have left by then, and instead bear the name of either just "xxxx research"(our research dept.) or the next analyst they hired to cover my sectors, but offered to have our publisher print out a few with my name for the purpose of showing any future employers. I was quite disappointed to hear this...what should I do?

Thanks in advance, HBAC33
