Golf shirt brand suggestions

Monkeys- what do you wear for polo shirts both when golfing and in the office. I typically go with Peter Millar or Fairway & Greene but would like to broaden my horizon (and hopefully stop paying $100+ for a polo).

amazon Basics (because I'm a basic bitch) or corporate stuff from legacy companies that no longer exist.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

Polo shirts for golf vs wearing out are different for me (and I don’t think I have any of the latter anymore). For golf I normally stick with athletic brands (most of mine are Nike, thought it would make me play like tiger woods from 10-15 years ago). I had more “fashion” polo shirts back in the day but never use them anymore.

I find Nike a bit bulky (would we do anything less since they were mostly client give-aways?) The material is great though.  If only the cut wasn't designed for 50 year old FAs.

Echo the golf polos being kept separate from those worn out and about. Reyn Spooner makes some funky looking golf shirts that are fun to wear, just look for the moisture wicking material or whatever sexy name they use to describe polyester.Faherty makes some good stuff for more casual polos to wear around - cool stitching and color schemes on a lot of shirts. More office friendly than a Nike swoosh imo.Brooks brothers or Ralph Lauren are my go to's; they have a far more formal look than reyn or faherty, obviously lol

Not any cheaper, but the best polos I’ve ever owned are Rhobacks. I moved to Houston where everyone wore polos to the office and just out in general seemingly everywhere, and that was one of the more popular brands I saw people wear. They’ve got these really nice, stiff/reinforced collars that don’t wrinkle so that was the selling point for me.

CT is the way to go for value. Usually $100/each but there’s usually specials for 2:1 or 3:1. Plus they have a pretty wide selection for polos including waffle which I personally like. Also, don’t mind VV but CT is more classy/low-key.
