$7Bln Multi-strat hedge fund in NYC
Does anybody have a prediction as to what fund this is (description below)? Understanding of course, that there is not much information. The description was posted on Glocap.
COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Our client is a highly successful $7bln+ multi-strategy hedge fund based in NYC. Their core team has spent over 10 years working together to develop and implement innovative, fundamental and quantitatively-oriented trading strategies, many of which make extensive use of proprietary software developed by their most senior members.
Given it's an active job posting, I can't imagine they'd want to dramatically underrepresent AUM, if they're trying to attract top talent. Just did a quick query and got these funds as being within potential ranges. If I had to bet, probably one from the bottom two buckets (just based off AUM). There aren't too many funds with this much money out there. If you really want to know, I'm sure if you look up those 7-10, only a couple will make sense.
