Any insights on Citadel Equity Quantitative Research (EQR) team?
Anybody has worked for or interviewed for a Quantitative Researcher or Quantitative Developer role at Citadel Equities Quant Research team? I wonder if anyone has insight on the role or the team. How is the interview process? How is the comp, culture, wlb, project work, hierarchy, etc?
Hi whz, the silence is deafening, sorry about that.... Any of the threads below helpful?

If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...

Personally I would rather go for GQS over EQR
And I would rather go for RenTec, but that’s not helpful
what I meant was going for a pure quant org is better than going for quant under discretionary
I understand where you’re coming from, but I really think it’s important to avoid saying one thing is inherently “better” than another. Comparison only makes sense in context. OP hasn’t given us any context about what they’re looking for, so we can’t judge one as better than another for them.
FYI I should say I interviewed with EQR and didn't like the taste.
I don’t think it’s for me either, as I prefer roles where quants are the revenue generators, but for someone interested in portfolio theory or factor modeling, EQR could be great
