Anyone want to give me some motivation?
Sophomore at a Non-target with highly relevant buy side ER experience. My friends have been getting first rounds and super days for ER roles despite not having networked or having ER experience. I'm yet to get a first round. I started submitting apps for random sell side/PE roles just so I'd have hirevue's to do. Starting to lose it.
I hope everyone reading this is having a better time recruiting than I am!
A lot of firms are only hiring to replace people who left / not expanding headcount. You should leverage LinkedIn and email individual SS analysts and ask if there is an open seat or if they know of one. As always include a pitch. Best of luck!
