Best tmt pods?

Received an offer from a tiger cub but thinking I'd see if there is an opportunity under a tenured PM with great reputation for a pod instead. Business development called with a few spots but wanted to get a sanity check as well as ask if there are specific teams to look out for.

Any latest thoughts on who are the best TMT pods? Focused on eComm and entp software, long track records through market vol. most importantly want to learn process very well.

Bump - Matt Janiga, Micah Nance are some of the best investors in the space among pods. Khalid Malik as well but he is no longer with Surveyor

Never worked at Citadel but have been covering TMT for 9 years and think the surveyor crowd are among the smartest in TMT.  Albert Satija and Alberto Mann (latter has been grabbed by BAM) have murdered it to my knowledge.  Don't know him well but have sat in meetings with a smart TMT PM in Global Equities who likes to take big swings but runs somewhat smaller team and has been there a while; he's also done well.

Hasn't been said, but Vivek Mehta (Throughline // Millennium, former Ashler, Tiger Legatus, Viking) is up there with MJ as the top 2 in TMT.

BAM and P72 have a 1-2 old-timers in TMT as well.  Rob Bovo DE Shaw.  Exodus Point -- he's out in the UK but I think Aaron Ezgar is great.

MLP pulling the capital was not entirely performance-based. That's to say, there were circumstances where they may have been degrossed by 25-50% but alongside some unacceptable extra requests. KM basically told them to bascially f themselves out of principle

Meridiem, and KM, are pretty much out of the game is my impression. Most people at Meridiem got other jobs, and my bet is that most with the co still on their LinkedIn are just still on the hunt

To be totally fair, if the guys who blew up their own funds (Neville or Khalid Malik) went to go start a pod somewhere (that’s obviously not millennium since they were essentially doing just that), I’d still work for them. Senior PMs with a ton of respect that have made a lot of PnL in their careers and certainly can do it again.

And to be clear, these blowups happen when you stray from the risk model which is easy to do when it’s your name on the door and not Steve’s or Ken’s. If either of them went to Citadel or P72 or BAM, I’d say those are really good seats
