Business Analytics....worth it? - Graduated with a finance degree from a non-target

I need some advice. I graduated with a finance degree from a non-target in may 2009 and since been traveling and studying for the CFA® . I have an opportunity in business analytics (healthcare industry, emerging market location with focus on global markets). I know its probably a little irrelevant to this website, but i really need some insight from people who might actually know what it is and what relevancy it might have going down a career especially when applying for graduate school, as well as, say a job on wall street, either or both, before and after b-school. Thanks in advance.
