Full Sundays per friend who interviewed there. Depends on your age, but if you can stomach a tough culture for a marketable PM name, then might be worth it. Any pod PM will have you working half a Sunday anyway and candlestick akin to landing at one of the top pod seats out there.
I worked for JW for years. I have nothing but positive things to say about him. Everything I know today stemmed from him, he changed my life and I’m forever grateful. Probably the most impactful person in my professional life.
He’s even better than they say. Lights out. Full Sundays / 80 hr wks, who cares. He’ll take care of you and you’ll learn a ton. Tough love but he is an EXCELLENT PM / mentor / teacher. He’s killing it.
If you’re a junior, I’d highly recommend working for him.
