Currently an associate in Equity S&T at a top tier BB in NYC. I’m trying to move back home to Chicago, but don’t have a good feel for the job market there. Original plan in NYC was to move into equity research, and I have found a few opportunities in ER at some middle market banks in Chicago. Outside of these roles, are there any other good opportunities that would be applicable to the CFA? Only have 3-4 YoE so hedge funds aren’t in the picture right now. Any good private investment shops?
