CV/resume Writers for HF's?

Looking to pay a professional to do my CV/resume. Tried the cheap way and got what I paid for...

Anyone know any good CV/resume writers that have experience in people looking to transition from PE to HF's? Based in UK, but don't think there would be much different between US/UK here.

Why can't you write one yourself? Type one up and ask someone else in your field you trust to take a look and give you feedback. Worst case, you find someone in your target field that's willing to take a look and give you feedback, good or bad. Remember, the absolute lowest thing you can say is the simple truth of "I don't know...but we should find out". That honesty will get you way farther than faking some PnL numbers that hopefully some other poster didn't follow through on for instance.

Would rather just pay a specialist who knows the industry. For IBD I would do it myself, but I feel like HF's are a bit more specialised and look for specific items and it would be beneficial to get someone familiar with recruiting in the industry. Also just given how everything goes through an HR screen now, they would know the buzz words etc to get through that first screen, if it was just going straight to the investment team who are more familiar, then agree on doing it myself.

I am not about to yammer about the HR backlash (I hate those degenerates with a passion). You're smart for reaching to someone who might know better, and I hope it works.
