Started in 98, Floren families money, currently has a PM and 2 analysts, the PM is the older Florens son, analysts seem to come in w/ minimal experience (one right after school - John Yankowich), and looks like they have a diverse portfolio centered around pharma/biotech/healthcare as well as energy. Apparently have ~200m aum.
Thanks seabird, so apparently it is an extremely small, almost "family" office? I've seen it registered as a hedge fund on one site, open end fund on another; so what is it really? Seems very small, but very hard to find credible info on them.
Ya, I couldnt find much either. Seen varying amounts for the amount they list as having under management. ~45m some place, 80m at another, 200m on onewire. Wasnt able to find contact info either except for yankowich. Hes a member of the greenwich town housing council or something (I was able to find contact info through that), as is the mother of the portfolio manager, who apparently has involvement in the fund as well. But not much info. I think it is just their families money - one article mentioned the older floren giving like, 15m to dartmouth, so I get the impression its theirs solely.
