Distressed and Merger Arb
Are there analyst roles out there that do both distressed and merger arb, in a bull market there aren't usually too many good distressed opportunities so I figure that combining it with merger arb would be a good strategy. Also, which one between the two do you think has a better future outlook? Merger arb spreads have already gotten very tight but I assume that they are never going to fully disappear while distressed is getting more and more saturated.

There are a good amount of event-driven funds that run both of these strategies, both are known to be very detail-orientated strategies.
