d&c trying to steal college students ideas now given they are simply underperforming every index with higher risk and less diversification. and no, im not in PE

 

These stock pitch competitions end up being so nefarious nowadays. I’ve seen kids do channel checks with management for the company they’re pitching, use some crazy explanations and valuations that have confused Viking analysts, and put hundreds of hours into them.

Not necessarily a bad thing but not smth to judge your worth on. I think a good pitch is one where you can break a company down into its components and business models and truly explain what drives it.
