Anyone have any info on this fund. In terms of reputation, track record, caliber of investment professionals.
The fund apparently manages 12.5billion equity portfolio and have been around for over 20years, yet I have never heard anything about them. Is this strange or is it just me? Even when you look up largest HFs, etc...nothing comes up on them.

CapIQ has almost nothing on them, although most of the GP's seem to be related?

I don't know too much about them; however, I believe one of the partners (Witmer) previously worked with Heine and/or Price at Mutual Shares and is now in the Barron's Roundtable. Given her background and the stock picks she gives in the paper, it is clear they are value oriented with maybe a slight tilt to special situations.
