Anyone have thoughts? Very new, I think sub 3-years, with $11b+ AUM. Find it pretty cool but wondering if others have thoughts

In transition phase from anti-pod, pod, to real pod. Some talented folks. Your individual experience will be more team dependent than other MMs - all teams are run slightly differently, particularly Fins. Not a bad place to go.
Helpful insight and agree, seems like an interesting shop to join as it scales. Anything on performance? Might be too early to tell given they seem to have been scaling AUM until recent quarters
The truth is not bad. Competitors will say choppy and episodic.
Interested to learn more as I'm in PE looking to transition into HF coverings financials - mind if I DM you to learn more?
Yes np.
Are they an equity only focused fund or do they also do credit?
Never really got what they meant by "anti-pod". How can you be anti-pod as a MM that runs distinct teams?
The $11B is inclusive of leverage?
Great firm my cousins uncles dogs dad works there
Anyone in the process right now? Has anyone gotten past biz dev screen?
Which group is this for?
Fundamental
Hard to judge them yet because they are still early as a platform. Big AUM fast sounds impressive, but that can mean they raised well, not necessarily that the track record is proven. I would dig into who the PMs are, where they came from, and whether capital is sticky or just early allocators testing the waters.
New funds can be great if you want responsibility faster, but also more risk if performance wobbles. If you are considering joining, focus less on the headline AUM and more on actual strategy, team stability, and how they’ve done in volatile periods.
From what I've heard, top-tier shop to be at considering PMs all come from impressive backgrounds and founder Todd Barker was one of the most renowned Citadel investors ever. I've also heard #s above typical MMs comp wise
