In transition phase from anti-pod, pod, to real pod.  Some talented folks.  Your individual experience will be more team dependent than other MMs - all teams are run slightly differently, particularly Fins.  Not a bad place to go.

Helpful insight and agree, seems like an interesting shop to join as it scales. Anything on performance? Might be too early to tell given they seem to have been scaling AUM until recent quarters

Interested to learn more as I'm in PE looking to transition into HF coverings financials - mind if I DM you to learn more?

Never really got what they meant by "anti-pod". How can you be anti-pod as a MM that runs distinct teams?

Anyone in the process right now? Has anyone gotten past biz dev screen?

Which group is this for?

Hard to judge them yet because they are still early as a platform. Big AUM fast sounds impressive, but that can mean they raised well, not necessarily that the track record is proven. I would dig into who the PMs are, where they came from, and whether capital is sticky or just early allocators testing the waters.

New funds can be great if you want responsibility faster, but also more risk if performance wobbles. If you are considering joining, focus less on the headline AUM and more on actual strategy, team stability, and how they’ve done in volatile periods.
