GoldenTree Asset Management - Thoughts?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any insight into Goldentree's culture, pay, general upward mobility, exits etc. I know GTAM is a $30bn+ credit shop and Tanenbaum basically runs the show and has a reputation for being "brutal", and they have about half in CLO money and half in distressed credit and credit hedge fund money, but I'm looking for more detail on (again) culture, pay etc. the sort of details that aren't really known to outsiders even in the distressed credit space - only GTAM insiders, ex-GTAM employees, and people with really close friends there.
