HBK Investments (Dallas)?

There doesn't seem to be much information on this firm. How well are they respected on the street? Is the Dallas Office a FO, or is there mostly BO and MO there? Also any information on pay, perks etc. would be great. Thanks.

Eugene Gokhvat is at hbk.

He is not someone who would go to hbk if it wasn't well respected...he was a legendary trader at DB who was guaranteed crazy salary to leave DB a few yrs ago.

I could've simply said "yes HBK is well respected" but instead I gave you an example. They are willing to pay for talent and do often play big.

Your welcome.

HBK was much more famous before the financial crisis, when it was about the same size as Citadel and Millennium (all three were ~$15b multistrategy funds in 2007), but after redemptions during the financial crisis HBK didn't rebuild its assets to the same extent as Citadel/Millennium so today it has about 40% of their AUM. It is still a highly respected firm with one of the longest track records in the industry.
