Hi, I wanted to know how much a senior analyst would receive at a 8B aum SM HF in Hong Kong. One of my friend works here and he told me they got around 16% returns this year. They only have 10 investment professionals and I'm guessing there should be at least 3 senior analysts.

(I have no idea what's customary at HK funds, but just do the ~2/~20 math ... with ~8bn @ +16% there will be plenty of money for everyone after LPs are paid, no matter what assumptions you pick re/ exact fees, watermarks, hurdle rates, etc. So probably all depends on how greedy or generous the PM/owner is.)
