One of the best managers in Asia / the world, incredible returns, investors include Yale and other top schools. If they offer you a job, take it.

yeah they are crushing it. I can tell you that for sure. Longer term investors.

I used to do Asia-Pacific PE (kind of like FoF). Now I do something else but happy to try and answer questions on that stuff.

idk specifically about AM. But can assure you on the whole firm side, Hillhouse is no doubt the best buyside firm in China. Can be ranked below the megafunds with presence in China (KKR, BX, Carlyle), but considering deal flows, it is no doubt the strongest (Tencent investment team may be a little higher recently, but CVC is another story). The pay for investment teams is usually comparable to HK top IB. WLB definitely better

If your asking because they’ve been in the news then I got you. Last few weeks they’ve been in the news in APAC. But in the news vaguely. Mainland media and markets rumor mill was saying they were dumping some names in recent sell offs. I forget the real estate co./developer they were offloading but that was one rumor a few weeks ago when Evergrande was hitting the tape every second about defaults and contagion. They were also rumored to be dumping all their pharma/biologics equities. CDMOs CXOs whatever you want to call them.
