How long to expect to decide on HF offer?
I tried searching for this and found that people have said HFs usually give anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks to decide on an offer. Just wanted to see if people had anecdotes with things wildly different.
Also I saw a thread on hiring a lawyer to review the employment contract, so depending on how much time you get to decide, how early do people find one in their process?
If they only give you two days there's something wrong. If they put in the effort to interview you and think you're worth hiring they won't just drop you.
Obviously be sensible, and keep them in the loop what's going on.
I've had ~2 weeks give or take to decide for HFs.
Definitely don't hire a lawyer until you get the a copy of the contract. I've seen many offers fall through after the verbal offer stage and you'd just be wasting your money
