On the other hand, this makes no sense since hedge funds have the same fee structure (2/20) regardless of geography.
The SumZero compensation report appears to suggest that Dallas, for example, pays something like 50-75k less than New York but it's unclear whether that is due to mix (e.g., smaller funds with higher headcount) or other factors.
