I already got an offer from a HF. How to resign from my current position?
Hi all! So I recently interviewed and got an offer from a HF and now I was told (by the HF) I can tell my current employer I can resign.
I've read a lot that you shouldn't tell your current employer where you are going.. But here I don't see how I can not tell it. The HF will call them for references, they will know anyway. Plus the HF asked me if I could shorten the notice period on my current job, so I can't be asking my boss to leave earlier and don't even disclose where I am going, it's a bit rude I guess.
Do you guys think this is a big issue to TELL the current employer where I am going to?..
Thanks!

Hope that helps.
