The reason that, if you have to ask, you won't get it, is that if you really went to a top target and/or were interning in one of those groups you'd know people at Matrxiw with 99% probability who could guide you on the process. If you have to ask, that kind of implies you don't...
Comp is marginally above street but anyone who prioritizes comp out of UG is making a poor choice IMO
