Introducing investors to a hedge fund

Hi all, I am looking for some advice on how to best approach this. I am a business lecturer in a London University and one of my students represents a group of investors that are interested in investing in a specialized type of hedge fund managed in the UK. He approached me and just happens I am aware of a new hedge fund in the process of fund raising that satisfies what they are looking for. What is the best way to approach this, so that the introduction takes place and I am compensated appropriately, if the investment takes place? What kind of paperwork should I ask both parties to complete before the introduction?

Thanks in advance
