Junior PM programs at platforms
Which platforms have good emerging PM programs? How much capital is given and what are the drawdowns / economics?

Balyasny has decent programs. Recently they started offering smaller capital to systematic/quant guys as well.
P72 has Academy program which offers good start for fundamental LS guys.
Would qualify that Baly has never had success in quant - they’ve fired their entire quant team multiple times and don’t really understand what it takes to build a quant business. Would avoid for quant specifically. Think fundamental is fine over there

Do Bam run programs for experienced investors?
P72 also has an emerging PM program called LaunchPoint that trains new PM's (mostly analysts who were promoted internally but also some PM's they poach from other shops) there is a focus on deploying capital and managing risk, but also focuses a great deal on running a team and being a manager.

Citadel has a jr PM program? Or you are just talking about Analysts there who manage own books
How are they different? It's all about being able to point to decisions you made with a track record until you can get a sr PM type deal. Jr PM deals don't matter apart from learning and getting a track record
