Long/Short vs Convertible Arbitrage

Trying to choose between two job offers out of undergrad.

One firm specializes in convertible bond arbitrage, while the other is long/short event driven. Which one do you think is better for overall career progression, learning experience, and future potential earnings? Both funds are reputable with good track records, and my personal background is more familiar with the long/short space. Convertible arb fund has higher AUM and large DT office, while L/S fund has generated some crazy returns these past couple of years. The people at both firms are all really great, so it would be hard to choose based on that aspect alone.

Would love to PM someone if they have some advice, also going to ask my professors and my old manager for his advice as well.
