Looking for career advice , 1.5 year as quant researcher in HF L/S market neutral Equity, India

Hi ,recently found this forum and read many discussions ,found it helpful. Would be great to get few answers for my questions

Short story : Undergrad in Engineering  from Top college in India (Top 5 IIT) ,Joined as Quantitative researcher in a HF L/S market neutral Equity 2bn AUM fund (around 40 employees, stamford,ct based , say worldquant, millennium types),working in India office,1.5 years Experience, different sorts of work - alpha, data, strategy ,mainly in Alpha team, Also running my own pnl book.

Few Questions:

1)How would you rate my current experience.

2)I know the compensation in US might be like 100-120K base + 0-100% bonus. Here it is 33k usd base per year (believe me its one of the top 5 pays in my schools when I graduated). pnl is not good this year, so expecting a normal bonus of around 10K-15k$ . any comments on this? I would say my performance is on par with my peers who work in US office, its just the L/S market neutral equity kind of sucks currently not able to produce any alpha

3)What should be doing next, I like my work ,but eventually want to work in NYC/London ,So I m thinking MBA might be good option? what other choices I have.
