Looking to go from HF to IB

Hi there,

Interned at BB IB but did not convert FT offer. Graduated May 2024 and got gig at small L/O HF: pay has been lower end of market v IB and don’t have a lot to show for all the time I’ve been there as we invest so rarely after weeks to months of diligence. Been there for almost 2 years and tried recruiting for PE and HF but lead traction is difficult and lack of transaction and team experience. Now want to focus on gaining transaction experience and finally open to biting the bullet and getting an IB Analyst role. I should have focused on this last year but better late than never I guess. Has anyone gone through similar?
