Making the most of an opportunity at small HF

Undergrad interested in HF as a career path. Reached out to a small hedge fund, interviewed with the whole team and managed to land a internship at the firm this summer. Really enjoyed myself and working with the team and got a offer to return to work with the firm part-time alongside school. I've accepted the opportunity and I'm super excited to rejoin them and contribute to the team. During my internship, I wasn't involved much with the investment team and was more supporting operations and building out some of the infrastructure within the firm (as its relatively new and small and most things are done in-house).

The founder of the fund seems to be really interested in supporting my journey and taking me under his wing, how should I go about navigating my time to learn as much as possible? How should I go about learning the ropes and thinking about getting exposure to the industry? For more context, the firm primarily runs event-driven strategies and invests across the cap stack (especially active in convertible bonds).
