Model Portfolio Assistant Portfolio Manager, or Sell-Side Equity Research?

Need some advice, monkeys. Currently thinking about the prospect of two offers. One is an assistant portfolio manager position managing model portfolios that have roughly ~$30B in AUM. The other is a sell-side equity research position as an associate for an industry I don't find the most interesting. I really want to be able to add modeling as a skillset because I know it is transferable.

For me getting a transferable skillset is the most important thing. Any thoughts would be appreciated on what you think I should take.
