P72 Grad Case Study

Hi everyone,

Long story short, I've just received a case study after applying for p72's graduate program (Grad Academy) and I have a few questions that I really could use some answers to...

1) My case study is 5 pages max investment report + 3 statement model (quarterly), is that normal ? I've seen ppl on this forum talking about this exact case study for the experience hires program, seems weird they'd send the exact same to both experienced hires with years in industry and ppl that are still in undergrad.

2) How many of these case studies tend to be sent out ? I'm currently finishing up a summer internship in IB in what's been a bit of sweaty group: I'm tired, like really fing tired (know i'm gonna hear some great lines about this). Hours are such that I can't work on it during the week so I have to kill my weekend to do this seriously (normally candidates get a full week) is it worth it ? I know it's an incredible opportunity but if the pass rate on this round is super low, considering I only have 1/3 of the time and am drained, then highly unlikely to get an interview, I'm just trying to get the picture of do I push through an attempt that clearly can't be my best at cost of much desired rest or unwind and move on to another opportunity

Thank you very much if you're able to tell me anything about this, sincerely

most people get the case study, and they only take 5 people in london. Given some of theses spots are taken up by interns, you’re going to have very low odds for a lot of work.

For what it’s worth, most people take out an entire week to complete this lol

Thank you, this is very helpful, just to clarify then, intern conversions play into these 5 spots ? Heard the summer has super high conversion, so would that mean like 1-2 actual FT spots available ?

I don’t know on the exact #, but they usually have 5 interns and 5 full time spots. And the grad app has been open 3 months.

Return on time invested is low
