Point 72 WLB and culture
Was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what working in Point72 is like. I have tried searching but no one really gives a straight answer.
What're the hours like and whats the WFH situation there, I might be joining their internship program next semester.
Hi Incoming Analyst in IB - Cov, hope I can help. Do any of these links cover what you're looking for:

Completely pod dependent but for most I know there (and other MMs that aren’t Citadel), WLB is very manageable (think market hours +1-2 hours on either side) and then read at home.
By market hours you mean 9:30-4? So that's 7.5 hours a day, +2 = 9.5 hours a day. This equates to around 47.5 hours a week, which is literally half of what bankers are doing. That sounds a bit too good to be true?
That's what it is...plenty of reading, thinking, talking/texting with colleagues/friends at other firms, that occurs informally outside of those hours but the hours in the "work week" are quite manageable. I don't generally care what hours my analysts are in their seats because most are directly compensated by their P&L. The stress of mark to market, however, for PMs and to some extent those analysts, cannot be overstated- very different stress than a client facing banker.
