Quant PM Process

Hey guys, I'm interested in finding out more about the

1. Quant PM interview process in MM shops, for example, how many rounds are there typically, and how technical should I be expecting the interviews to be (e.g. Should I be deep diving into the investment methodology and the numbers that support the process?). I'm looking to bring a differentiated statistical arbitrage strategy that is factor neutral and thus will prepare material to explain the methodology in advance.

2. Further, I'm currently based in APAC and would like to be a PM in NY, are sponsorships for PMs commonly available?

3. Lastly, I'm also curious as to the ownership of intellectual property. I've heard mixed stories of MM funds severely limiting the potential of having your own hedge fund, as well as stories of encouragement in forming your own hedge fund. Does anyone have an interesting sample point to add?

Thanks.
