Starting with hedge fund job
Hey, couple of questions:
Can i start as a hedge fund analyst straight out college or first i should be an analyst in ib, if yes which universities do you prefer?
is it possible that you can be a portfolio manager before 35?
should i get CFA or any other certifications for it?
thanks, really appreciate it if you can guide me
I thought this was a poem or something.
All these questions have been discussed at length on his forum and others. Use the WSO search function and Google. Also, you're too young. To be very brief:
1. You can do either--it depends. There are so-called target schools.
2. Yes, PM under 35 is possible.
3. CFA is not necessary for hedge funds. Most in the industry don't have one.
Thanks man
While you're at it, why don't you also decide the color of the Rolls Royce you're going to buy once you're the next Ray Dalio?
I recommend Wraith
