Strongest HF and IB Targets

Go to a pretty blue blooded college as a freshman (think ivy) that is known for finance but not as much for hedge funds or tech.

Wondering where the strongest targets of Hedge funds are and if it would make sense lateraling to a school like Columbia or trying one of HYPSM.

Would not make sense lateraling. For IB recruiting going to the best school possible matters but there are very strong diminishing returns once you're in the top 10-15 of schools. For HF recruiting, once you go to a top 20 school, it's almost entirely on the candidate, as every school will be looked at by p72/cit's programs and there will be enough alumni to learn from.
