A friend of mine interned with them a few years back for a couple of weeks (got a better position).
Trend following place, nothing special. They are unique because they actually market to the retail market. I am sure you have seen the guy that started it in CNBC ads. The NY office apparently is just focused on sales and fund raising. IMO, not in the same caliber of trend following places as say Winton, AHL etc.
They are legit but as baddebt88 said, they're nothing special at all. Personally I'd go for places that are known for their performance rather than their marketing tactics.

but it cant hurt to intern there for a month if your not doing anything else? recognizable name and just another thing to put on your resume?
