Take private - reading/research
Have a call with a fund that wants to take a decent size company private, but I'm not overly versed. What's the best resource to read up on prior to the meeting?
I was going to prepare comps around margin for similar sized private companies in the same space to show the fund what numbers *should* look like VS now (co is super fat) and how much the co would have to shrink to get to profitability.
I'm guessing they want to pitch me on putting some cash into the deal + working on the co in some capacity. I'm actually OK outright losing quite a bit of money on this b/c I think it would improve our deal flow a lot.
