I am a executive at a major energy corporation considering making a transition into the energy hedge fund space. I understand that due to the nature of the industry, hedge funds operating/specializing in the traditional energy (oil and gas) sector prefer hiring experienced professionals from the energy industry over finance specialists.
I am formulating a list of top hedge funds (or teams of larger funds) operating/specializing in the energy industry (worldwide) and would appreciate any recommendations in this regard.
