View on Builders Union
Hi everyone,
I am really curious to have your opinion about Builders Union, a $200m - $300m HF created in 2017 by Alexander Bruells and Markus Bihler.
Their investment thesis is centered around "global young consumers" and define themselves as a "consumer-focused growth investment firm".
Does anyone know them, and what do you think about their capabilities, their ability to train and grow in-house talents (they seem to recruit some analysts directly after graduation), their growth prospects, their strategy ?
And did anyone do their case study ? What to expect ?

"Met" them not long ago. Really interesting firm imo, felt very VC-like. The firm though is relatively new and their ability to foster talents straight out of undergrad has yet to be seen but the founders have very solid backgrounds and a long runway ahead of them.
