Shows Oliver Stone doesn't really care about reality and would rather get his political agenda out there. Let's look, Gordon Gekko wasn't barred from the securities industry for massive insider trading? M favorite part is the end, when Stone essentially tries to say that the entire 21st Century bull market period was driven by avarice, lies, and was essentially evil. lol

Reality hits you hard, bro...

Gordon Gekko was banned from securities "trading" not the market itself, thus why towards the end Shea LeDouche learns, "Capital Investment" is not considered trading (wonder if he's really worth the $1mm+ bonus). I think the ending was somewhat true but majority influenced by Hollywood bu***hit, because I realized the non authenticity of the movie (w/regards to market events) when Gordon reveals Zabel as a ponzi schemer. But either ways the script only dented my excitement and can't wait until April to see the movie.

I think my ethics section of the CFA can answer. An individual should not trade on "material non-public information." I think he also got nabbed for market manipulation, but in the movie we see Gordon Gekko was the real crook, though when it comes down to evidence the road ends at Charlie Sheen.

How about those charts on the NYC skyline, random animations of the renewable energy plant, and also loved the artistic vision portrayed in the numbers all over peoples faces and those cloud-like popup bubbles whenever Shia got a call from someone else... I never knew you could do so much on imovie - props Oliver.
