Wharton MBA Quantitative Finance
Currently an 4th year Investment banking associate with experience in both leveraged finance and industry coverage (outside of US)
As of now, I got so sick of banking as well as PE after working with them, and deeply regretting that I should've gone to trading / quant hedge fund (e.g. Citadel, Jane Street, etc.) route instead after graduating from college.
I'll be applying for MBA in the coming September to make career switch, and just wondering whether Wharton Q.fin MBA would be REALLY sufficient for equipping myself with quantitative skills... Though of applying to top MFE program but I partied too much during undergrad (3.2/4.3 shifty GPA) so I'm not gonna make the cut.
Would appreciate any input or advice...
IB to quant? Fr? For starters, what was your undergrad even in
I double majored in economics and finance. Didn't learn programming, but I guess I have to study at least Python during spare time before matriculation
My guy, why not try for discretionary instead of quant. Do you even have an interest in these things
