What work does DE Shaw's India office do?
DE Shaw India Pvt. Ltd. operates as a separate entity in Hyderabad, India and claims to work on financial research and post-trade operations for the hedge fund. Every year they hire several undergrads from top Indian colleges, engineers for software development roles and econ/finance grads for financial research roles. Does anyone have any idea as to what their Fin Res department works on and what an undergrad joining it should expect?
