Why the Apparent Cheerleading for Candlestick's Closure?

Why are people here and on Twitter (X) so happy that Candlestick is closing down? The HF industry forums seem so cynical that they enjoy the downfall of others. It's understandable to have a competitive spirit, but there's a difference between being competitive and being unnecessarily aggressive.

Candlestick is closing down despite its performance, not because of it.

Of course, there are better performers out there, and Candlestick could have done better, but why the negativity here? WHAT AM I MISSING?
