Can a CS degree help in Investment Banking?

The question pretty much says it all. If a computer science degree can help in Investment banking how? In what ways? How can I apply my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science to an investment banking job?

The easiest way from point A to B is a straight line.

By undertaking a CS major with the intent of going into ibanking, you're making the process 100x more difficult for yourself.

Take the easy way out and do a finance/econ/accounting/liberal arts major like everyone else. The fact that it's so easy affords you other valuable benefits as well, such as more free time to network/party/extracurriculars, ect. Most importantly, you will be able to maintain a SUBSTANTIALLY higher GPA.

I repeat, if your goal is to go into ibanking, do NOT do a hard STEM major intentionally.
