US GDP 2.8% Q2

Hi, intern here. Could someone please explain what exactly the view on US GDP growth exceeding expectations is? I read a lot of the Bloomberg news available on this today but it feels like differently people are telling different stories.. some think it's great because the recession is further out of reach, others think it's bad because it means the cuts won't be till September given potential inflationary pressure again. But maybe I'm just a dumb intern and I'm the one misinterpreting this. Could someone explain? Thank you so much
