What daily information is required knowledge in a financial career (analyst, broker, etc.)

Hey monkeys,

I'm new to posting, but have lurked for a few months now.

I was wanting to know what to keep track of every day (for interviews, or just on-the-job knowledge), so here's what I have:

- Pt/% increase/decrease and totals of S&P 500/DJIA/NASDAQ
- Pt/% increase/decrease and price of Gold and Oil
- Pt/% increase/decrease and price of EUR and GBP
- % increase/decrease of Treasury bill/note/bond (1yr/10yr/30yr) yeilds
- Daily deal (merger, spin-off, IPO, LBO, bond/stock issue)
- Daily geopolitical/diplomatic issue that affects my market and/or sector
- Stock to watch/short/long because of an announcement/article

Am I missing anything that would be important to track daily? Am I overdoing it in terms of numbers/things to know?
