No I'm at one of the major hedge funds in a financial energy trading pod. Stay far away from dare....

My pnl contribution is pretty hard to track because I dont actually have my own book atm so the only way I'm contributing is through making better models, and then just thinking critically about the trade ideas that people are putting out and what has to happen in the numbers for that position to materialise profit. I always sent a weekly trade report to my bosses of what 'my portfolio' would contain but you naturally gravitate to a very similar book to your bosses so it doesn't hold that much merit. As far as team pnl we had a very good Q1 and Q2 and then basically took Q3 and Q4 off.... but still managed around 400 with a 6 Sharpe (yes I also didn't know these types of results were possible but somehow these guys do it, when I first joined and looked on our risk software I thought our weekly pnl was our ytd)

These salaries seem shockingly low? Fourth year MBB here in German office and made 160 base + 40 bonus. Ofc different taxes but also considerably lower COL.

I'd have thought assocs make way more in LDN.
