Bump, although I think it’s a bit early still?

An3
£65k Base
£50k Bonus
£115k Total
Isn't £65k base An1?
In IB coverage/M&A at a large bank yes (and even then there are a few paying £60k), but different divisions or smaller banks can pay differently.
AN1 base is £70k
This is just not the case everywhere. Plenty of banks are still paying A1s £60k or £65K (mainly the large European balance sheet banks).
65 as AN3? What shop it that?
European bank.
They are aware base salaries are low, and compensate accordingly in bonus… total comp will be par vs other banks.
Gotta be natixis
Hey, thanks for sharing! Are these DCM numbers and do you have any idea of bonus numbers for AN1?
Can I ask what type of DCM? Are you a covered bonds? Securitisation or more of a coverage banker?

damn they made you give back 5k? That's weird brother

base £125k
Bonus £425k
Is this boutique shop or a place like Dare or BP?
No I'm at one of the major hedge funds in a financial energy trading pod. Stay far away from dare....
Hey could you PM me if possible? Just had a few questions
prefer to keep it on here
Congratulations! Are you able to shed some light on your P&L contribution/group P&L that warrants a payout like this? Thanks.
My pnl contribution is pretty hard to track because I dont actually have my own book atm so the only way I'm contributing is through making better models, and then just thinking critically about the trade ideas that people are putting out and what has to happen in the numbers for that position to materialise profit. I always sent a weekly trade report to my bosses of what 'my portfolio' would contain but you naturally gravitate to a very similar book to your bosses so it doesn't hold that much merit. As far as team pnl we had a very good Q1 and Q2 and then basically took Q3 and Q4 off.... but still managed around 400 with a 6 Sharpe (yes I also didn't know these types of results were possible but somehow these guys do it, when I first joined and looked on our risk software I thought our weekly pnl was our ytd)

US BB, equities
ASO2 -> ASO3
New base GBP125k
Bonus GBP65k, top bucket
These salaries seem shockingly low? Fourth year MBB here in German office and made 160 base + 40 bonus. Ofc different taxes but also considerably lower COL.
I'd have thought assocs make way more in LDN.
Welcome to London
Its sales and trading
EB. VP2 - £360k all in. All things considered, am very happy.
