Number haven’t even come out yet. No one knows, they had the second best year in firm history.

Analyst 1 stub bonus was a little shy of $20k. It sucks that analyst's have to get stubs their first year but is what it is. As the above comments say, there is a large disparity amongst the different levels, if you are a top performer you will get paid very well (Because they don't want you to hop ship), unfortunately not many are top performers (i.e. "top bucket senior associate" who got 100k likely wasn't top bucket).

Analyst 1 (lateralled from another firm at beginning of year) - 60k

Top bucket - Had very strong reviews and ranked Above expectations in all 3 categories (you have to ask)

Looking forward to another good year

Additionally, addressing the above comment of "they don't promote a lot". This is wrong, the issue is there are a shit ton of associates right now (at least in my group), and the majority of them quite frankly are just bad MBA associates. The best associates are A2A (duh) and these strong performers seem to have no problem moving up the ranks.

As the comments above noted, the disparity from top to bottom bucket is larger than ever. Top performers got comped very well and poor performers did not. All in comp varied by group but top Analysts ended up in the low to mid $200s and top Associates got close to $400k.

This is largely true but those comp numbers were for experienced analysts (very few analysts actually passed 200k tc fwiw) and senior associates.

There were surprisingly few promotions going around this year, at all levels. That in turn translated to higher bonuses for those specific people because they want to keep them around for 2025.
