Never seen them join an interview on schedule; interviewed with them 3 times, always at least 5 minutes late. One time, they rescheduled 2 mins before the interview for the next day due to "voice related technical issues".

I bet they actually opened the applications, but only for selected people (if there was like an express interest form). If that's the case, they should open the general form in the next few days.

Dartmouth is a joke, I interviewed for the Qatalyst analyst program last year and they didn’t move me forward because of my high school grades despite me having a BEng, an MSc in Finance, and being doing a highly relevant internship in Tech IB at the time 💀

ie they have a roster of diverse candidates through SEO or otherwise with little relevant experience that they're ready to send for interviews lol

imo not really, ive spoken to a few recruiters and theyre fairly meritocratic. they prioritise work exp and university brand name above everything else. also end of the day after they've interviewed, they give their feedback of each candidate to the client (firm), who then review holistically (interview feedback, cv etc) to decide whethr they want to invite the candidate to AC. this does vary, e.g. DC advisory have used dartmouth for a while and have a strong relationship so DC trust dartmouths feedback. also have noticed more and more firms are using dartmouth (they basically have a chokehold on advisory boutiques early careers)

6 questions is ridiculous especially without a word limit (?)

Why Qatalyst and why Tech is obviously fine in a Cover Letter and the last two are also very straightforward but not kind of meh when you should probably be writing ~200 word answers

What is irritating though is the questions about hypothetical acquisition and recent acquisition. Questions like those actually require thought
